" Comma " 2024

A comma is not a period or a space.
It is a pause, an endless separation, a breath between meanings,
or, in a digital context, a bit shift, an implicit separation of two code fragments, a mark within a data stream.

If “What?” is a question, then “Comma” is a refusal to answer.
This work is the visual equivalent of a pause. The silhouette, composed of binary symbols, neither falls nor rises — it trembles in a cubic interstice.
This is not a pause before speech, it is silence as an act of choice.
In the logic of Sobinarism, the comma is the most important punctuation mark. It gives the right to deferral, without which justice is impossible. Those who choose must be able to wait.
